Beatbox With Me – Simple beat 2 with dry kick and 808 snare

Beatbox With Me - Simple beat 2 with dry kick and 808 snare

A simple drum and bass beat done using the 808 snare and the dry kick. Note – this does not sound good. I think we can safely say the 808 snare and dry kick are not good when it comes to drum and bass, haha.Updated on a regular basis this series will teach you various beats using a variety of sounds. The “simple” beats are good for practicing new sounds or for newcomers to beatbox, the “intermediate” beats are a little faster or more complicated, while the “challenging” beats are for the more advanced beatboxer. “Song covers” are, obviously, covers of songs and can be any difficulty. Please feel free to hit the subscribe button, or leave a comment mentioning my awesomeness. If you would like help with the sounds or feedback on your beats, post a video response showing the sound as you are doing it, and I will be happy to give feedback. Beatbox With Me – Advanced beat 1 with classic snare

A tricky beat that can be a real tongue twister. Done using the classic snare. Great for practicing kick rolls. This beat is also a great example of an auditory illusion – if you get all the hi-hats right, they sound separated from the rest of the beat making it appear that you’re doing more than one sound at a time. You’ll need to know… -Kick drum (taught in my basic sounds tutorial) -Dry kick (taught in my dry kick tutorial… you need to be able to do them with your lips together) -Kick rolls (taught in my kick rolls tutorial and encompasses the above) -Hi-hats (taught in my basic sounds tutorial) -Classic snare (taught in my classic snaretutorial) Updated on a regular basis this series will teach you various beats using a variety of sounds. Beatbox tutorial – Classic snare drum (Pff / pft snare)

www.fattonybbx.com Ah, the snare. My old nemesis. It took me eight freakin’ months to get this sound down. Eight! It’s supposed to be one of the easy sounds! Eight months! Ah well, I’ve explained it nice and easy so hopefully it won’t take you guys quite as long. To make the sound 1 – It’s similar to saying the word “poof” without the “oo” 2 – Once you have this “pf” vocalisation, simply experiment with your lips – generally the tighter they are, the higher the snare is Described as “[one] of the finest exponents of the hip-hop discipline” by YouTube’s music blog, Fat Tony’s tutorial series is THE definitive guide to learning how to beatbox.
