Beatbox Tutorial – Sega Sound

www.fattonybbx.com Alright, alright, I’ve put this one off enough. Here is the tutorial for “that sound Hikakin and Daichi does”, or to call it by it’s proper name, the Sega sound. I’ve actually received emails for this sound in the past but only Hikakin’s recent “world record” video where he does this sound for 14 seconds (a “record” that I totally blew out of the water with a time almost double that, I’d like to add) has caused a real influx of requests. So, here you go. It’s actually a very easy sound to do, although some beatboxers get it sounding absolutely incredible (like KrNfX, and Hikakin himself). The sound pre-dates Hikakin enormously, however, and can be traced back to the early 2000s, so it’s not particularly new. So there you go. To make the sound 1 – Learn the inward zipper, and either the inward clickroll or inward uvular oscillation 2 – Combine the inward zipper with the inward clickroll or inward uvular oscillation Also, I’m still waiting for Hikakin to tackle the Drop It Like It’s Hot challenge. Described as “[one] of the finest exponents of the hip-hop discipline” by YouTube’s music blog, Fat Tony’s tutorial series is THE definitive guide to learning how to beatbox.
